Women Love Sports (Clickbait)

Growing up in a household where the echoes of Pittsburgh Steelers' games were a familiar background noise, I developed an unwavering passion for football. This love was not solitary; it was shared and nurtured alongside my twin sister, Lexy, alongside our family, deeply rooted in Pittsburgh traditions. Despite my enthusiasm and growing knowledge of the game, I often found myself at the receiving end of unwarranted criticism and mockery from boys who couldn't fathom a girl understanding, let alone loving, the complexities and thrills of football. These experiences, far from deterring me, only fueled my determination to immerse myself further into the world of sports.

My journey into the realms of baseball, basketball, and beyond, alongside my devoted love for the NFL, became a testament to my passion. Sunday rituals with Lexy, participating in "Pick 'Em Pools" through our dad's workplace, became a tradition, a tangible connection to our love for the game and each other. Our bond was highlighted when I flew to San Diego to surprise Lexy for the most recent Super Bowl. This gesture was more than just about watching the biggest game of the year; it was a celebration of our journey and our shared love for football.

My ambition to break into the sports industry, fueled by my desire to shatter stereotypes around women's knowledge and passion for sports, is a powerful narrative of perseverance and love. My story is not just about a girl who loved football; it's about challenging societal norms, embracing one's passions, and the beautiful bonds that sports can create and strengthen. As I continue to pave my way into the sports industry, my story serves as an inspiration for countless others who have faced ridicule for their passions. It's a reminder that love for the game knows no gender.
